The award-winning production, Legends in Concert, is the longest running, independently produced production show in the history of Las Vegas, and has appeared continuously since 1983 at the Imperial Palace Hotel and Casino. The Legends concept proved so successful that today, Legends in Concert is staged in five permanent venues, Las Vegas, Nevada, Atlantic City, New Jersey, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Branson, Missouri and aboard Premier Cruise Lines.
Each show of the Legends in Concert has a roster of some eight stars, making sure that they cater to everyone's taste, but certain stars (such as Elvis and Marilyn) are always featured. More than 60 of the world's greatest entertainers are represented by the show's performers. You may find yourself watching names like Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe, Janis Joplin, Nat King Cole, Judy Garland, Bobby Darin, John Wayne, Whitney Houston, Elton John, Barbra Streisand, Dolly Parton, Kenny Rogers, Reba McEntire, Cher, Paul McCartney, Conway Twitty, Roy Orbison, The Partridge Family or John Lennon.
There is never any lip-synching in a performance. Every singer sings each song live, accompanied solely by a professional, live orchestra. In addition, the show features a troupe of outstanding dancers and background singers, plus a full array of incredible special effects including theatrical multimedia and million-dollar lighting, laser and sound systems.
