JP & The Rhythm Chasers

This band will transport you to the after hour clubs of the 1920s- 40s with their sweet melodies, hot rhythms and improvisation. The Rhythm Chasers fit well in a variety of venues such as jazz and blues clubs to rock and traditional dance venues. Building on the success of their former band Hot Town Jubilee, Joshua and Erick Perkins are happy to introduce the new line-up in this up-and-coming band. Call it tap room swing or gin running jazz it is all a part of the sound called hot music. We hope you enjoy. The Rhythm Chasers are: Joshua Perkins on guitar on vocals, Erick Perkins on stand-up bass, Doug Ellington on trumpet, Ben Silverman on clarinet and tenor sax, Darius Minae on drums, Marty Eggers on piano. The Rhythm Chasers generally run five to six members, but can break down to four for smaller restaurants and private events.
